Is this a Yoga Alliance-aligned training?
Yes. The curriculum follows the foundational educational standards of a Yoga Alliance-aligned 200-hour teacher training program, including philosophy, history, anatomy, teaching methodology, ethics, and professional practice.
Do I have to want to teach to apply?
No. While this is a teacher training program, many students participate for personal growth, deepening their practice, leadership development, and study of yoga as a holistic discipline. Teaching is not required, but commitment to the training process is.
Is this training rooted in classical yoga?
Yes. The program is rooted in the classical traditions of yoga and taught through a modern, accessible lens that honors both lineage and contemporary life.
Is this a physically intense program?
The training includes physical practice, but it is not based on performance or athleticism. Emphasis is placed on embodied awareness, safety, adaptability, and intelligent practice rather than physical extremes.
Is this a fitness certification?
No. This is a foundational yoga education program that integrates philosophy, history, ethics, anatomy, embodiment, and teaching methodology. It is not a fitness-based certification program.
How many people are in each cohort?
This is a small-cohort training model to support depth, mentorship, and individualized guidance.
Is the program in-person or online?

How long is the training?

What is the application process?
Applicants complete an online application. Applications are reviewed personally. Some applicants may be contacted for a brief conversation prior to acceptance. Accepted students receive onboarding materials and next steps.
Is there a deposit?
Yes. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required upon acceptance to secure a place in the cohort.
Is tuition refundable?
No. Application fees and tuition payments are non-refundable. In extraordinary circumstances, considerations may be made at the discretion of the lead trainer.
Are payment plans available?
Payment arrangements may be considered on an individual basis and must be arranged in writing prior to the start of the training.
What is the time commitment?
Students are expected to attend scheduled training sessions, complete required study, participate in practice teaching, and engage fully in the training process.
Is this training appropriate for beginners?
This training is designed for committed practitioners. It is not a beginner-level introduction to yoga, but prior teaching experience is not required.
